Scope

Organic App Developer (“we,” “us”) makes educational apps and operates organicappdeveloper.com. This policy covers this website and our current and future learning apps, including chemistry, biochemistry, biology, physics, psychology, anatomy, statistics, economics, accounting, algebra, and BioOrchestra. A product in development is covered when it becomes available. The portfolio includes General Chemistry Tutor, Organic Chemistry Tutor, Physical Chemistry Tutor, Biochemistry Tutor, Introductory Biology Tutor, Financial Accounting Tutor, Organic Chemistry Reactions, Organic Chemistry Nomenclature, Introductory Physics Tutor, Introductory Psychology Tutor, Musculoskeletal Anatomy Tutor, Introductory Statistics Tutor, Introductory Microeconomics, Introductory Macroeconomics, and NMR Spectroscopy Tutor. BioOrchestra and an algebra tutor remain planned titles. Availability is shown on each product listing. The study-data and analytics practices below apply across our apps. App Store and Google Play disclosures provide further product-specific information.

Information you provide

If you contact support, report a problem, or send feedback, we receive your email address and the message, screenshots, logs, or other details you choose to send. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information unless it is necessary to resolve your request.

Our public website offers an optional email-only early tester interest list. Signing up does not create a password-based account. An individual app may offer additional features, in which case its notices will describe any information those features require.

Future educational app beta testing

If you voluntarily join our future educational app tester list, we collect your email address, preferred platform (Apple, Android, or both), chosen website language, and time of consent. We use this information only to verify your address and send occasional optional testing invitations. There is no guarantee of an invitation or specific app. Cloudflare Turnstile helps prevent spam; short-lived, secret-hashed network identifiers are used for rate limiting. We use Cloudflare D1 to store registrations and a transactional email provider to send confirmation messages. An unverified address does not receive testing invitations. You can withdraw using the link in your verification email or contact [email protected] to request deletion. We retain a minimal suppression record after withdrawal to prevent further invitations; contact us if you want it removed. We do not use this list for general marketing or sell your email address.

Information on your device

All study data in our apps is stored on your device. This includes, as applicable, study history, answers, scores, progress, preferences, and language selections. We do not operate an account or cloud-sync service for this study data, and our apps do not upload it to us. Removing an app or clearing its storage may remove local study data. Your device backup settings are controlled by Apple or Google and may affect whether app data is backed up. Purchase records and entitlement checks are managed separately by the relevant app store.

Analytics by platform

Android apps use Google Analytics to measure app usage. You can turn Analytics off in the settings of each Android app. Our iOS apps do not use analytics. Analytics is separate from the study data stored on your device. See the individual Google Play listing for the applicable Android app’s current Data safety disclosure.

We do not use information received through support to create advertising profiles or sell it to advertisers. We do not place advertising in the apps currently described on this website.

Website visits

When you visit this website, your browser requests pages and images from our hosting provider. The provider may process routine technical information, such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, and time of request, to deliver the site and maintain security. The public site does not ask you to create an account. Links to Apple, Google, and other external sites take you to services with their own privacy policies.

Purchases and service providers

Apple and Google process purchases and manage payment information under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not receive your full payment-card number from those stores. An app may check your purchase entitlement or restore status to provide access. Providers that host the website, deliver email, or support app operations may process information as needed to perform those services. Product-specific store disclosures should be checked for the current providers and data categories.

Children

Our educational apps are intended for college-level learners and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly request personal information from children under 13 through this website. If you believe a child sent us personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

Your choices and requests

  • On Android, turn Google Analytics off in the app’s settings. Our iOS apps do not use analytics.
  • Manage app permissions in your device settings and purchases through the relevant store.
  • Delete local app data through your device settings or by removing the app, subject to your device’s backup behavior.
  • Email us to ask about or request deletion of a support message we hold. We may need to retain information required for legal, security, or record-keeping purposes.

Retention, security, and changes

Study data stays on your device until removed or changed by you, the app, or the operating system. We do not hold a server-side copy of it, so we cannot retrieve or erase it remotely. We keep support correspondence as needed to answer your request and maintain reasonable support records. Service providers may apply their own retention periods to data they process. We take reasonable steps to protect information we control, but no system is completely secure.

We may update this policy as products or practices change. The date above shows the most recent website revision. Questions and privacy requests: [email protected].
